huh....well, i guess this computer has my password....

i have password issues. i also have issues with capitalizing the beginning of a sentence. for some reason it makes me happy to not conform to this one little (okay, it's big) grammatic rule. screw you grammar.

my little pancake is 9 months old and our adventures have continued despite my lack of blogging. he is eating all kinds of crap now. he loves to be part of my banana eating every morning. he does not get that you cannot take bites bigger than your mouth without choking. just so you know, yes it was very hard for me to not be inappropriate there. kudos for me. yay.

i fed mini pancake a bit of Red Mango frozen yogurt, pomegranate flavor of course, the other day. he looooved it!!! he loved it wayyyy too much. he started out by making "mmmm mmmm" sounds and then erupted into a shrieking baby howl when i ceased to continue feeding the frozen yumminess to his mouth. a clear case of child abuse?! so i pushed the screaming little yogurt fiend to the exit of the mall as fast as possible. geesh.

i am still sorting out in my head what i would like to do craft wise to keep myself happy and my brain busy. i want to knit or start wool roving. the problem is, i am a procrastinator. i have managed to check out and read a bazillion (10) books from the library and have an impressive hold list going as well. i need to focus!!!!!

the book i am reading now is AMAZING. Maya Angelou's (capitalization necessary, she is beyond deserving of it) "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." i am in awe of this woman's life and talents.

okay, well that didn't hurt too bad. maybe i can keep blogging. i could not remember my password for the life of me the past month! luckily this particular computer that i am typing from has it hostage. yaaaay!!!!

and go.

pancake.

oh hello...we are going to Hawaii

OMG we are going to Hawaii!!! Mini Pancake will be coming along....eeeeek!!!! I am a little scared of the whole plane ride madness, but I bet it will be great. How amazing is it that I will be able to tell him that he has been Hawaii twice (once when I was pregnant) in one year? That is odd to think about. He will be old enough to have a full on conversation at some point.

Okay, adding to the new foods list: Sweet Potatoes and Carrots. Both went well. On a somewhat related tangent; I wish as adults our poo would smell like what we eat.

Us pancakies went to this huge used kid/baby toy/gear sale yesterday. That was nuts. MP decided to barf the sweet potatoes he had for lunch all over the Baby Bjorn and himself. The messed up part is that I came across several moms who saw this, it was very obvious, and not one of them said anything. I finally saw it and cleaned it up...but sheesh. I am the kind of person that will tell you if you have crap in your teeth, for godsake tell me my kid barfed on himself. We are all on the same team people. Okay...stepping off my soapbox.

Off to bed, I will be up in a mere four or five hours to tend to my boss : )

mini pancake vs the avocado

Hello!!!! I am creating this blog to help document the fun and poopy times of me and my lil guy. I am a first time mom and am enjoying every minute of this amazing journey!! The older he gets the more his personality shines through and I don't want to miss a minute of it.

We are going to Kauai!!! On Monday, just a few weeks before Christmas, we are headed to the island of Kauai with grandma and grandpa (oh, and daddy). I am kind of nervous about the airplane trip and of course the unknowns, but excited in general.  Every day is another adventure in facing my fears.

Today me and the small pancake went to visit our pharmacy friend! She stole him and took him back in the pharmacy, I figure he is licensed since I am....at least until he is two ;). Then off to Factoria for a visit with the crazy ladies. Poor kid was swarmed with ladies and love.....ladies love mini pancake. He loves them too. He is a bit of a baby tease with those with the girly parts. One more pharmacy stop for some love and adoration from crazy ol auntie poopy.

Grumpiness ensued from being out too long, so we headed home after four hours of carting around the baby for foods and a nap.

Tally of foods liked: rice cereal, oat cereal, peas, licking bananas

Not liked: avocados SAY WHAT!!??!! lol

Current vocabulary: dah dadadada dahhh bvvtthhh and of course the lovely fake choking. He is quite taken with his ability to gain attention with this!!

I am also wondering what the whole squashing up his whole face until his cheeks turn red and arching his back until he looks like he is going to explode......does this over and over if he wants out of the carseat. It is pure genius. Showing a look of implosion=the lady takes me out of my seat.

Lots of insanely high pitched squealing and going complete ape sh*t in his Jumperoo. Greatest invention EVER by the way! Loves to be read to and 'reads' along at an extremely high volume.

Obsessions: panda blanket toy, the kitties

Boring first post, but I gotta start somewhere ;)
